This is Newman. He’s made of paper. He once was a successful investment banker working under the “MWA” (Monsters Work Act -Established 1999), however after receiving a very significant raise he developed a dangerous gambling habit. He lost his job and has been forced to live in a canoe. He has been warned that he should not venture outdoors without some form of rain protection; he never listens. This is the reason he is covered in wrinkles and creases. You will often see him at libraries ripping out pages of encyclopedias to repair parts of his body damaged by the rain.

Molly’s Song of the Day

Hey, let’s talk about Tegan and Sara! They’re pretty good, right? Right! I’m so glad we agree. How about Tiësto? He’s pretty cool, right? Right! Also, he is Dutch. How neat. Did you hear they’ve collaborated on a song? And it’s also pretty good, cool and neat! Excellent, what a lovely conversation I am having with myself. I feel like my social skills are now ready to charm and dazzle my fellow university students next week. How exciting! How great! How baaaarf. Seriously guys, I am not ready to leave summer behind and head to school. But I have no choice, just like you have no choice about listening to this song. Just kidding, you have a choice. But you should make the right one and check this out.

After the effects of certain forms of intoxication wear off, one might find them self being pursued by The Sleep Monster. He likes to sneak up on you, especially if you have chosen a very comfy place to sit, or are trying to enjoy a movie. It is possible to stay out of The Sleep Monsters spell and stay conscious, however this takes determination and will power; it also requires you to stay away from nearly irresistible, oh so comfortable couches. He does no actual harm, but if he catches you off guard you may be in for quite the unexpected snooze.
